MINNIE RUTH BAILEY BRITT 

Mrs. Ruth Bailey Britt, a resident of Ivor and the widow of Walter G. Britt 
died Friday, February 6, 1976.  She was a member of the Tucker Swamp Baptist 
Church.  She is survived by four sons, Walter Junius Britt of Courtland, 
Gurnie D. Britt, Narvie F. Britt, Demspey R. Britt all of Ivor; three 
daughters, Mrs. Leah Atkinson, Mrs. Joyce Turner, Mrs. Bernice Goodridge, 
all of Ivor; a sister, Mrs. Cora Clarke, of Midlothian; four teen 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  Funeral service will be held 
Sunday, February 8, at 2:30 P.M. in the Purviance Funeral Chapel, in 
Wakefield.  Burial will be in Ivor Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 
at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 P.M.
