WILSON EUGENE BRITT JR. 

   EARLYSVILLE - A funeral service for Wilson Eugene Britt Jr., 40, was held 
at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church by the Revs. J. Waverly Horne 
and Glenn Routt.  Burial was in the church cemetery.  A viewing was held from 
9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield.  The family 
gathered Monday night at Hill & Wood Funeral Home, Charlottesville.

   Britt died Saturday in his home.

   A native of Arlington, he was the husband of Jean Campbell Britt.

   He was an audio-visual technician at the University of Virginia’s School of 
Education and was a Sunday school teacher at Laurel Hill Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include his mother, Gessie Hodge Britt of Windsor; a 
daughter, Wanda Jean Britt, and two sons, Robert Wilson Britt and Scott Eugene 
Britt, of Earlysville; and two sisters, Margaret Ann Britt of Charlottesville 
and Elsie B. Wright of Oklahoma City.
