All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ALMA BULLS BRADSHAW Mrs. Alma Bulls Bradshaw, 57, well-known resident of the Black Creek community, died Friday in Obici Hospital after an illness of several weeks. She was the wife of Linwood Edward Bradshaw and the daughter of the late Irving and Mrs. Maggie Pond Bulls of Southampton County. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and its Ladies Missionary Society. Surviving besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Billie L. Jones of Suffolk and Mrs. Mills E. Bradshaw of Franklin; three sons, Thomas I. Bradshaw of Courtland, Joseph L. Bradshaw and Melvin D. Bradshaw, both of Franklin; five grandchildren; five brothers, Eddie, Rossie and Otis Bulls of Sedley, Charlie Bulls of Franklin and Jasper Bulls of Smithfield, and four sisters, Mrs. Annie Drake of Suffolk, Mrs. Mattie Bradshaw of Waverly, Mrs. Nellie Raiford of Ivor and Mrs. Lottie Branch of Sedley. A funeral service was conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Holland Funeral Chapel by the Rev. R.P. Welch. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Sedley. Pallbearers were Beaury Raiford, Hubert Raiford, Charles Bulls, Samuel Bulls, James Alton Bulls, Ray Bulls, Bobby Branch, Wesley Bradshaw and Johnnie Bradshaw.
