All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ BENJAMIN EVERETT BRADSHAW Benjamin Everett Bradshaw, son of Adolphus G. and Mary Alice Wills Bradshaw, was born February 7, 1881, and died on the 46th anniversary of his birth. He was reared upon a farm in the Black Creek community and made his home there throughout his entire life. About two years ago he was stricken with paralysis and never fully recovered, however his death was sudden occurring during a visit to his father who was ill. His parents were members of Black Creek Baptist Church and he grew up in that faith, he later in life attended the Friends and Grace Memorial M.E. Sunday schools and was a regular worshiper at these services. He was thrifty, courteous and friendly and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral services were conducted from Grace Memorial M.E. Church by Rev. Nathan Pickett and Rev. R.P. Welch. He was buried in the family cemetery near Sedley. The body bearers were B.F. Babb, J.D. Owen, G.S. Cornwell, J.D. Wills, N.W. Wills and R.L. Johnson.
