CARRIE RIDEOUT BERTUCO

   BOYKINS - Mrs. Carrie Rideout Bertuco, 61, died in a New York hospital 
Saturday.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the wife of Angelo Bertuco of New 
York and a daughter of Mrs. Ella Worrell Rideout and the late James Gay 
Rideout.

   She lived in New York 20 years.

   Besides her husband and mother, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Katherine 
Marie Francis of New York; a sister, Mrs. L.P. Modlin Jr. of Boykins; and a 
grandson.

   A funeral service was conducted Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in Beechwood 
Cemetery, Boykins, by the Rev. Richard Scott of Boykins Methodist Church. The 
body was taken from McDowell Funeral Home to the cemetery.

   Pallbearers were: Maynard Banty, Pat Griffin, Fletcher Hand, Richard Ricks 
Jr., Franklin Ricks, Robert Doyle.
