BRADSHAW, farmer, Southampton Co. native, d. 7 Nov 1962, Williamsburg, age circa 77, interred in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery*, 9 Nov 1962, "The Tidewater News" (Franklin, VA), Nov. 15, 1962, p. 6 *Additional information: I find nothing support calling Charlie "Jr." His bro Jno. Thomas' obit ("Tidewater News," Dec. 29, 1966, p. 11) gives his father as Joseph Bradshaw. I have not find evidence to support that Bettie was united with a Joseph or Charlie Bradshaw Sr., though it is possible. Rather, the bros may have adopted their mother's maiden name. (mh) His mother, Bettie BRADSHAW WOMBLE, is also buried there.
