ELLA DRAKE BRADSHAW 

   Mrs. Ella Drake Bradshaw, 79, widow of Zollie T. Bradshaw, died at her home 
in Newsoms on Wednesday afternoon, June 30, after an illness of many months.

   A daughter of the late Thomas and Pattie Barnes Drake of the Newsoms 
community, Mrs. Bradshaw was a lifelong resident of this county.  She was a 
member of the Barnes Methodist Church and a Gold Star Member of the Woman’s 
Society of Christian Service.

   Surviving her are four stepdaughters, Mrs. W.B. Ellis of Courtland, Mrs. 
Gordon Grizzard of Adams Grove, Mrs. G. Leroy Bryant of Courtland, and Mrs. 
Russell Railey of Newsoms one stepson, Burris Bradshaw of Newsoms; nine 
grandchildren; two sisters Mrs. J.S. Bryant of Lasker, N.C., and Miss Carrie 
Drake of Newsoms; and one brother, R.E. Drake of Newsoms.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Bradshaw will be conducted from the residence in 
Newsoms this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by her pastor, Rev. John W. 
Morrison, followed by burial in the Newsoms cemetery.
