CHESAPEAKE - A funeral service for Elisha (Junie) Bradshaw was conducted Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Arthur Seabury and the Rev. Robert Garner. Burial was in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Great Bridge. Bradshaw, 49, 137 Mann Drive, Great Bridge, died Sunday at 3:20 a.m. in his home after a brief illness. A native of Elon, N.C., He lived in this area 47 years. He was the husband of Mrs. Nellie Boogades Bradshaw and a son of the late Rev. Elisha and Mrs. Blanche Rose Bradshaw. He was a 30-year employee of Ford Motor Co. plant in Norfolk as a stock control analyst. He was a member of Great Bridge Congregational Christian Church and Great Bridge Lions Club. He was a Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was on the coaching staff of the Great Bridge Little League baseball team and played for the Ford Motor Co. Baseball and bowling teams. Besides his widow, surviving are three sons, James N. Bradshaw, Wayne D. Bradshaw, and Mark S. Bradshaw of Chesapeake; two brothers, Samuel Bradshaw of Franklin, and James Bradshaw of Chesapeake; and two sisters, Mrs. Rhoda Carr of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Alice Holland of Baltimore.
