All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ EUNICE BEALE BRADSHAW NORFOLK - Mrs. Eunice Beale Bradshaw, 61, formerly of Franklin, died in a Norfolk hospital Saturday afternoon following brief illness. A daughter of Samuel R. and Hester Edwards Beale of Southampton County, she was a member of Larchmont Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Roger W. Drake of Portsmouth; three daughters, Mrs. Eunice Bolton and Mrs. Marie Dorman of Norfolk and Mrs. George Lutz of Haddonfield, N.J.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lewis Gillett of Franklin and Mrs. Sallie Henderson of Dallas, Tex., nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted today (Monday) at 2 p.m. at the Courtland Methodist Church by the Rev. Ambrose Turner of Larchmont Methodist Church, Norfolk, and the Rev. C.W. Gibson, Jr., of Courtland. Pallbearers were J. Carroll Drake, A.W. Hatch, Hubert Beale, Jr., Warren Beale, John Beale, Sr., B.L. Berry, Norman Gillette and Emmett Drake.
