NANCY BRADSHAW Mrs. Nancy Jane Edwards Bradshaw, 74, of Franklin, formerly of the Black Creek community, died at the residence on South Quay Road of her son, J.P. Bradshaw, on Sunday afternoon, April 13, after a long illness. The deceased was the wife of Percy Bradshaw and the daughter of William Fletcher and Louisa Webb Edwards of Southampton County. She was a member of Black Creek Baptist Church and its Women’s Missionary Society. Surviving, besides her husband and son, are a daughter, Mrs. N.M. Edwards of Windsor; five grandchildren; two brothers, C.C. Edwards of Franklin and D.S. Edwards of Zuni; and nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Bradshaw were conducted at Black Creek Baptist Church on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the pastor, Rev. Len B. Allen. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were R.P. Barrett, Reginald Bradshaw, Charlie Bulls, Arthur Carr, A.E. Drewry, E.A. Drewry, Charlie Holland and Dr. T.A. Morgan. Nancy Jane (EDWARDS; Mrs. Percy E.)
