      BURNED TO DEATH.

  John Bradshaw, 5 years old, son of George Bradshaw, was fatally burned 
the other day in Southampton county.  While playing near the fire his 
clothing became ignited and his mother's frantic efforts availed nothing. 
He died within twenty-four hours.  Mrs. Bradshaw's hands were badly scorched.
