[sic; V.] BRADSHAW DIES AT HOSPITAL Luther W. Bradshaw, 45 years old, a well-known insurance man, whose home was at 620 Victoria Avenue, died in the Elizabeth Boxton hospital at an early hour yesterday morning. He underwent an operation for appendicitis last Wednesday and his death was due to complications following the operation. Mr. Bradshaw was born and reared in Southampton County, but came to Hampton several years ago to engage in the insurance business. He was a member of the Men's Bible class of the Memorial Baptist church and also the church. Mr. Bradshaw is survived by his wife. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Boyce H. Moody, will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery. The active pallbearers will be W.B. White, D.N. Betts, Arthur Fuller, E.L. Moore, Edward Hudgins and Floyd Dunn. The honorary pallbearers will be J.T. Burcher, W.H. Wright, James H. Mitchell, Charles Brooks, J.A. Davidson, E.T. Hudgins, W.H. Sammons, Lee Roy Bradley, J.W. Thomas, J.T. Henkle, J.B. Turvis, Isaac Griffiths, R.O. House, William Phillips, Thomas Burbank, R.S. Seward, William Roane, Dr. Williams, Dr. Curtis and Dr. Frances. ****************************************************************************** Hears of Death of Nephews On Same Day News reached Suffolk last night of the death of Henry Joyner, of Richmond. Mr. Joyner has two uncles in this city, Moses and D.K. Joyner. Word was received here of the death of Henry Joyner, and not one hour later word was received of the death of another nephew in Newport News, he being Luther V. Bradshaw. Mr. Bradshaw died in the Buxton Hospital in Newport News, but was a resident of Hampton. He will be buried today in Hampton. Henry Joyner will be buried from Friend's Church in Sedley this afternoon also. Services will be conducted by the Rev Mr. Stanfield, assisted by the Rev. J.A. Fix, of Franklin.
