All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ Mrs. Margaret Bradshaw WINDSOR - Mrs. Margaret Gilmore (Maggie) Bradshaw, 93, of Community Drive died Thursday at 6:10 p.m. in Medic Home Health Center, Portsmouth. A native of Brighton, England, she lived here most of her life. She was the widow of James Exum Bradshaw and a daughter of William H. and Mrs. Eliza Bingham Gilmore. She was the oldest member of Wilroy Baptist Church. Surviving are three sons, James O'Kelly Bradshaw of Tucson, Ariz., and William Exum Bradshaw and Gilmore Bradshaw of Portsmouth; four daughters, Mrs. L.E. Bradshaw and Mrs. G.C. Duck of Franklin, Mrs. D.L. Kitchin of Portsmouth, and Mrs. J.M. Ritter of Windsor; a brother, E.V. Gilmore of Franklin; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home by the Rev. William B. Denston. Burial will be in Southampton Memorial Cemetery. Her husband (1870 - 1928) was buried in a family cemetery on Old Courtland Rd.; site not known (Nov 2023) to the SCHS Cemetery Project. Find a Grave has him listed with Margaret, but notes he was buried in a family cemetery.
