MARGARET BRADSHAW Mrs. Margaret A. Bradshaw, one of the oldest residents of Southampton County, departed this life on April 30, 1918, at her home near Black Creek Baptist Church. Services were held at the church and interment was in the family burial ground. The deceased was in her 86th* year and her death has brought to a close a most useful, consistent Christian life. Beloved by all that knew her, and sadly missed by a sorrowing community. May her ashes rest in peace and her beautiful soul find its fitting reward in a heavenly home prepared for the redeemed. A Godly life is the most appropriate eulogy and good deeds left behind the most lasting monument. She left surviving her four sons, J.F. Bradshaw of Franklin, who for years has been her faithful attendant, B.W. Bradshaw of Hopewell, C.N. Bradshaw of Norfolk, and George L. Bradshaw of Blackstone.
