NANCY ANN BEALE DePRIOR BRADSHAW

   Mrs. Nancy Bradshaw died at her home near Sedley August 25 in her 81st 
year.  Mrs. Bradshaw was the daughter of the late Richard and Nancy Beale 
and was born where she was residing at the time of her death.  From early 
childhood she was a consistent member of Johnson’s Grove Church.

   She was twice married, her first husband being Peter DePrior.  To this 
union two children were born, Mrs. Joshua Councill of Sedley and the late 
Mrs. Delilah Drake.  Her second husband was John T. Bradshaw and their 
children who survived are two daughters, Mrs. W.E. Daughtrey of South 
Norfolk, Mrs. W.W. Ballance of Portsmouth, two sons, Luther Bradshaw of 
Susan and R.H. Bradshaw of Franklin.  Another daughter, Mrs. Lucile West, 
died several years ago.

   Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at two o’clock in the 
Friends Church in Sedley by Dr. Elwood W. Jones of Franklin and Rev. J.A. 
Stanfield.  Grandsons and nephews of Mrs. Bradshaw were pallbearers. 
Interment took place in the family cemetery near Sedley.
