PERCY THOMAS BRADSHAW 

P.T. Bradshaw, 84, Ex-Zuni Postmaster 

Zuni - Percy Thomas Bradshaw, 84, former postmaster of Zuni, died Wednesday 
afternoon in a Suffolk hospital after a long illness.

He was the husband of Mrs. Lena Eley Bradshaw and the son of Thomas Jefferson 
Bradshaw and Mrs. Martha Beaton Bradshaw.

Born in Southampton County, he was postmaster 25 years before his retirement. 
He was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, superintendent of its Sunday 
School and church treasurer 25 years and a former deacon.

Besides his widow, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. I.L. Ball of Hampton and 
Mrs. H.B. Bowers of Kembridge, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Worrell and Mrs. 
T.J. Livsie of Newsoms.

A funeral service will be conducted Friday at 4 pm in Tucker Swamp Baptist 
Church by the Rev. Donald R. McNair and the Rev. Waverly Horne.  Burial will 
be in the church cemetery.  The body will be taken from W.J.M. Holland & Sons 
Funeral Home, Franklin to the church at 3 pm Friday.
