Bradshaw, son of the late Goodwin and Ann Elizabeth Bradshaw, died at his home in Sedley Monday, April 13, 1931, in his 75th year. Mr. Bradshaw was born in this county and 51 years ago married Miss Nannie Johnson who had made their home in their community during these years. Mr. Bradshaw was known and esteemed by his friends and neighbors as an exemplary Christian character, a man of high standing in honor and integrity and numbered a host of sincere friends. He joined the Friends Church in early life and was a faithful and consistent member, attending services regularly until a few years ago when his health and eyesight failed him. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. R.L. Scott of Franklin; four sons L.L. Bradshaw of Sedley, J.P. and Elijah Bradshaw of Norfolk and J.J. Bradshaw of Sedley; 13 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. C.C. Brantley and Mrs. Alice Cobb of Sedley. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 4 o’clock from the Friends Church by his Pastor, Rev. Jess Stanfield, assisted by Rev. S.K. Emurian of Suffolk, Rev. H.B. Owen of Ruther Glen and Rev. R.P. Welsh of Black Creek. His favorite hymns, "Home of The Soul," "When I Ring Those Golden Bells" and "Safe In The Arms of Jesus," were sung by Rev. H.B. Owen, Rev. S.K. Emurian and Rev. Jesse Stanfield. Interment was made in Rosemont Cemetery and the pallbearers were: T.F. Hundley, Raymond Brantley, J.D. Owen, R.L. Johnson, J.I. Joyner and R.B. Scott. [Robert Barkley BRADSHAW, b.
