BRADSHAW Mrs. Sallie V. Bradshaw, 83, a lifelong resident of Southampton County, died in Patrick Henry Hospital, Denbigh, on Thursday night, January 27, after an illness of more than six months. A member of the Black Creek Baptist Church, she was the widow of Jodie M. Bradshaw and a daughter of the late James *Drewry Vasser of this county. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Bradshaw were conducted at the graveside in the family cemetery near Sedley on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. James A. Coney. The pallbearers were Floyd Johnson, C.F. Mumford, Jr., Charlie Stith and Jesse Stith. *I believe a phrase was left out of this obit: "a daughter of the late James Franklin and Ann Eliza Drewry Vasser of this county." (bs) Sallie A.
