Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were George Marks, Wallace Mason, Jack Haslett, Russell Darden, John Slaton, Jeff Joyner, Gary Bradshaw and Jesse D. Gardner. The members of Boy Scout Troop No. 28 served as honorary pallbearers. A native of Suffolk and a lifelong resident of Franklin, he was a son of Burton Cox and Mrs. Edith Ray Poland Bradshaw. He was a student of Hayden Junior High School, member of Franklin Baptist Church, and senior patrol leader of Boy Scout Troop No. 28, and member of Chanco Lodge, Order of the Arrow. Besides his parents surviving are a brother Burton C. Bradshaw Jr.; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Lillie C. Bradshaw of Franklin; and maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William B. Poland of Boykins.
