All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ZOLLIECAFFER THOMAS BRADSHAW Zollie Thomas Bradshaw, 65, well-known farmer of the Newsoms section, died Sunday night at the family residence after an illness of many weeks. He was the husband of Mrs. Ella Drake Bradshaw, and son of the late George W. and Mrs. Susanne Whitfield Bradshaw. He was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church. Besides his wife, Mr. Bradshaw is survived by three sons, George D. and Burris Bradshaw of Newsoms and Jos. S. Bradshaw of Petersburg; four daughters, Mrs. W.B. Ellis and Mrs. Leroy Bryant of Courtland, Mrs. Russell Bailey of Newsoms, and Mrs. Gordon Grizzard of Adams Grove; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Roy Herman and C.C. Bradshaw, all of Newsoms; four sisters, Mrs. Paul Edwards and Mrs. Herman Smith of Newsoms, Mrs. J.R. Brooks of Courtland, and Mrs. M.R. Bryant of Capron; his stepmother, Mrs. George Bradshaw of Newsoms and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. C.P. Cleveland, assisted by the Rev. L.G. Tinnell and the Rev. F.L. Baker of Suffolk. Interment was made in Newsoms Cemetery with the following pallbearers: J.M. Vick, P.S. Worrell, J.Q. Worrell, W.T. O’Berry, William Bell, T.B. Bell, J.B. Everett and E. Beale Carter.
