Born in Fairfield, Va., she was a daughter of the late Charles Raymond "Pop" and Eddie Belle Duff Mason and the widow of the Rev. Julian Burley Briley. She was a member of Franklin Church of God. Survivors include two daughters, Jean B. Lowe and her husband, David, of Franklin and Teresa B. Vick and her husband, Steve, of Zuni; three sons, Tony M. Briley and his wife, Peggy, Gary H. Briley and his wife, Sharon, and J. Wayne Briley and his wife, Julie, all of Zuni; three brothers, Wallace Mason and Carl Mason of Franklin and Raymond Mason of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Jeffrey and Stacy Lowe, Chris Whitfield, Gary and Jennifer Briley, John Eure II and Elizabeth Story, Heath, Scott and Laura Vick; two great-grandchildren, Haley Whitfield and John Eure III; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Hunter Mason, and a sister, Billie M. Ball. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. James R. Ashby and the Rev. Randy Wooden. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home and other times at the residence at 25097 Bows and Arrows Road, Zuni.
