Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the S.H. Hines Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late John Robert and Mrs. Rebecca Scott McLane of Franklin. She is survived by her husband, John F. Byrne; two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Cullens and Mrs. Dorothy Bryant, of Silver Springs, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Mable M. Baker and Mrs. Virginia Futrell of Norfolk, and Mrs. Martha Beale and Mrs. Johnnie Thorne of Franklin; five grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. ****************************************************************************** MARY McLANE BYRNE WASHINGTON - Mrs. Mary McLane Byrne, wife of John F. Byrne of Washington, died Tuesday in a Washington hospital. She was the former Miss Mary McLane, daughter of the late John Robert and Mrs. Rebecca Scott McLane of Franklin. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Cullins and Mrs. Dorothy Bryant of Silver Spring, Md.; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Baker and Mrs. Virginia Fuller of Norfolk and Mrs. Martha Beale and Mrs. Jonnie Thorne of Franklin, and five grandchildren. A funeral service was held at Hines Funeral Home, Washington, Friday at 2 p.m. Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery.
