BROWN Zuni, Va., Sept. 3 - A funeral service for Richard Henry Brown, of Zuni, who died Saturday in a Franklin hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Tucker Swamp Baptist Church with burial there. ****************************************************************************** Richard Henry Brown, 79, a retired farmer of the Zuni-Ivor community, died in Raiford Memorial Hospital at noon on Saturday, September 2, after a long illness. A member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Willis and Margaret Brown. He is survived by a son, Willie L. Brown of Zuni; a daughter, Mrs. Delia Joyner of Ivor; two grandchildren; and a brother, B.B. Brown of Ivor. Funeral services for Mr. Brown were held Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, with Rev. L.E. Holzbach officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The active pallbearers were Percy Bradshaw, Richard Powell, Frank Clark, Hurley Clark, J.T. Faircloth, Sr., Bob Doles, Dr. E.M. Babb and Phillip Worrell.
