Barham, 64, died Wednesday morning at his home in First Avenue following an illness of many months duration. Mr. Barham was a member of an old Southampton family, the son of the late Henry Thomas Barham and Mrs. Jennie Harding Barham of the Capron community. He was with the Camp Manufacturing Company at their Arringdale mill for many years, and for several years had been a resident of Franklin and employed by the Camp Company as mill foreman here. Besides his wife, Mrs. Lucy Pritchett Barham, he is surviving by one daughter, Mrs. Lelia B. Kimball, and a granddaughter, June Mason Kimball, of Franklin; one brother, J.T. Barham of Capron, and one sister, Mrs. J.B. Matthews of Norfolk, and many relatives. Funeral services were conducted from his late residence yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock by the Rev. Roscoe Jones of High Street M.E. Church with interment in Poplar Spring Cemetery. The active pallbearers were: W.H. Lankford, Harry Steinhardt, Clyde H. Eley, B.T. Watkins, C.F. Whitfield, J.H. Boyd, Geo. R. Brown and W.B. Simpson.
