WILLIE LEE BROWN

   ZUNI - Funeral services for Willie Lee Brown, 76, were held Wednesday in 
Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, by the Rev. J.W. Horne.  Burial was 
in Tucker Swamp Church cemetery.

   Pallbearers were; Dr. Mike Chesson, J.T. Fairclaw, Jr., Massey Joyner, 
Harold West, Marion Neighbors, Ray Gordon, Mac Edwards, Tommy Joyner and James 
Bryant.

   Brown died Monday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

   He was a lifelong farmer and livestock dealer of the Zuni community.  He 
was member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.

   Survivors include his wife, Bertha Ellis Brown; two daughters, Pauline B. 
Pittman of Wakefield and Marie B. Britt of Suffolk; a sister, Della B. Joyner 
of Ivor; and three grandsons.
