All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ ANNIE LILLIAN COBB BARNES DREWRYVILLE - Mrs. Annie Lillian Cobb Barnes, 57, died at her home near here Thursday at 6:30 p.m. A daughter of Charlie E. and Annie Ellis Cobb, she was a lifelong Southampton County resident and member of Hebron Baptist Church and Hebron Home Demostration Club. Survivors include her widower, Claude E. Barnes*; six sisters, Mrs. Blanche Barrington of Norfolk, Mrs. T.J. Mattox* of Drewryville, Mrs. William Drewry of Franklin, Mrs. Enoch Smelley of Richmond, Mrs. Kenton Snead of South Hill and Mrs. J.R. Carriker of Orangeburg, S.C.; and four brothers, C.D. Cobb of Boykins and R.E. Cobb of South Hill. A funeral service was conducted in H.M. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, Saturday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Dalphon J.
