He was the husband of Mrs. Helen Irene Horton Branch, and the son of Mrs. Eula Raiford West and the late Richard Allen Branch. He was an employee of L.L. Brinkley Auto Part Supply Co. for the past 17 years, and a member of Corinth Friends Church. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Nell Jeannette Crocker, and Miss Sue Branch of Zuni, and Mrs. Judy B. Powell of Smithfield; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Rickerson of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren, and three nephews. Funeral services will be conducted in the W.J.M. Holland Funeral Chapel at 4 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. James A. Coney and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in Ivor Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** RICHARD HAROLD BRANCH ZUNI - A funeral service for Richard Harold Branch was conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. James A. Coney and the Rev. R. E. Brittle. Burial was in Ivor Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joseph C. Raiford, Elton Stephenson, Walter Neave, Edgar Lowe, Dudley Raiford, Herman Barnes, Chamus Stephenson and Herman Cobb. Branch, 53, died Tuesday [sic; Monday*]. A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Mrs. Eula Raiford West and the late Richard Allen Branch and husband of Mrs. Helen Horton Branch. He was a member of Corinth Friends Meeting. Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Nell Jeanette Crocker of Zuni, Mrs. Judy Ann Powell of Smithfield, and Miss Linda Sue Branch of Zuni; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Rickerson of Virginia Beach; and four grandchildren.
