S. J. BRANCH Mrs. S.J. Branch died at her home in Boykins Monday after an illness of several months. She is survived by her husband, S.J. Branch, one son, L.S. Branch, two daughters, Mrs. M.E. Dennis of Franklin and Miss Ruth Branch of Boykins, four grandchildren, two brothers, W.H. Johnson and R.E. Johnson of Suffolk, a lager family connection, and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from the Boykins Baptist Church of which Mrs. Branch was a consistent and loyal member, by her Pastor, Rev. F.B. Handley, assisted by Rev. R.L. Haga of the Boykins M.E. Church and Rev. R.D. Stephenson of Franklin. The pallbearers were: T.H. Porter, J.T. Davis, W.F. McKinstry, F.R. Stephens, R.S. Bryant and J.W. Holland and interment was made in Beechwood Cemetery. ****************************************************************************** IN MEMORIAM In loving memory of our dear mother, Mrs. Sarah F. Her husband 2m. Nannie P. JOYNER 26 Aug 1934. (Southampton Co. #211) He d. 2 Jan 1948 & was buried in Beechwood Cemetery. Unmarked, he has been added to the plot with Sarah & their daughter Ruth.
