BETTY SUE BRYANT Mrs. Betty Sue Bryant, 25, died suddenly at her home in Branchville at 11 o'clock Saturday night, May 11. She was a native of Mecklenburg County and a member of the Branchville Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, Leon Bryant; a son, Cedric Blake Bryant; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence L. Thompson of Capron; two brothers, Clarence E. Thompson and Dana Harris Thompson of Capron; and two sisters, Clara Margaret Thompson of Franklin and Rebecca Orr Thompson of Capron. Funeral service for Mrs. Bryant were conducted at the Branchille Baptist Church on Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. Thomas H. Caulkins, assisted by Rev. William S. Ferguson, pastor of the Branchville Methodist Church. Burial was in the Capron Cemetery, the active pallbearers being Tommy Barnes, Clay Beasley, F.L. Bryant, Foster DeBerry, Clinton Overby and R.D. Overby.
