Holland & Sons Funeral Chapel, Franklin, by the Rev. Harry Bunch. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin. Pallbearers were Norfleet Johnson, Foushee Railey, Archie Church, John Crumpler, Frank Stephenson, J.C. Story, George Prince, and Rosser Bryant. Mrs. Bryant, 82, died Tuesday in Norfolk hospital after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of John Woodard Bryant and a daughter of N.B. and Mrs. Lelia Foushee. She was a member of Sunbeam Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, John W. Bryant Jr. and Benjamin J. Bryant of Handsom; a daughter, Mrs. W. Chaffin Crockett Jr. of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. C.N. Johnson of Norfolk and Mrs. J.T. Bryant of Handsom; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. [Eva (FOUSHEE; Mrs. John W.)
