FANNIE EUGENIA WILLIAMS BRYANT 

   COURTLAND - A funeral service for Mrs. Fannie Williams Bryant was conducted 
Tuesday at 3 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral Home, Franklin by the Rev. 
Bobby Tyson. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.

   Pallbearers were James R. Bryant, Willard Johnson Jr., Robbie Johnson, Allen 
Bryant Jr., Bobby Bryant, George Bryant, Courtney Johnson and Tommy Bryant.

   Mrs. Bryant, 80, died Sunday afternoon in Williams Nursing Home, Chesapeake.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Mills Robert Bryant and 
a daughter of George and Mrs. Georgianna Davis Williams.

   She was a member of Courtland United Methodist Church and its Women’s 
Missionary Society.

   Surviving are eight sons, G. Russell Bryant of Norfolk, Wesley T. Bryant of 
Hampton, Allen G. Bryant of Portsmouth, M.R. Bryant Jr. of Courtland, William 
R. Bryant of the Air Force in Turkey, retired Lt. Col. H. Lloyd Bryant of 
Columbia, S.C., J. Clayton Bryant of Richmond, and Melvin W. Bryant of Toano; 
a daughter, Mrs. Willard L. Johnson Burlington, N.C.; 22 grandchildren; and 15 
great-grandchildren.
