Willetta B. Heising with military rites according at the grave. Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, is in charge. Pallbearers will be: Ed Bond, Jimmy Babb, Leon O’Clair, Dennis Krugel, Joe Hollowell and Tom DeYarmon. Bryant died Wednesday* in Southampton Memorial Hospital. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Beatrice C. Bryant and a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Franklin. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a retired superintendent of the Naval supply center after 35 years service. Other survivors include three daughters, Nancy B. Krugel of Courtland, Linda B. DeYarmon and Diane B. Hollowell both of Norfolk; two sons, Felton F. Bryant Jr. of Ocean View, and William D. Bryant of Franklin; and five grandchildren. (#2499) states that he was buried "near Black .Head on Bryant's place," so he has been added to the list for the POPE cemetery. Felton's maternal grandparents are buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms.
