Bryant was conducted Thursday Dec. 29 from the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, North Main St. Cranbury, with the Rev. James Darrack, pastor of Dayton Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Franklin Memorial Park. Bryant, 56, who resided with his son, Glen M., at 23 Greenbrook Drive, died Monday in Princeton Hospital after a long illness. Born in Southampton County, he lived in the Cranbury area 25 years and worked for Forsgate Farms for 23 years. He was the husband of the late Elsie M. Bryant. Besides his son, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Burnell Turner and Mrs. Johnnie Mae McClenny of Suffolk, five sisters, Mrs. Willie Moody, Mrs. Susie Cobb, Mrs. Virgie Cogsdale, Mrs. Bertha Stephenson, and Mrs. Helen Joyner, of Suffolk; two brothers, Walter, of Suffolk, and Thomas, of California, and five grandchildren.
