Pinner Street. He was the son of the late Tom and Alice Eley Bryant, of Southampton County, and was a member of the Main Street Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie Mumford [sic; Munford] Bryant; four daughters, Mrs. R.H. Bradshaw, of [sic] and Mrs. R.L. Nicholson, of Capron, and Mrs. H.E. Savage of Virginia Beach; one son, Gillette T. Bryant, of Courtland; a sister, Mrs. A.B. Cobb, of Courtland; a brother, M.R. Bryant, of Courtland, 12 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. George F. Lightner and the Rev. R.E. Brittle. Burial will be in the Courtland Cemetery.
