Bryant, died suddenly Monday morning, March 15, at his home near Newsoms, having attended his church at Boykins Sunday. He was born in 1877, son of Theophilus and Sarah J. Bryant and had never married. He is survived by two brothers, M.D. Bryant of Courtland and Russell S. Bryant of Newsoms; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Vick and Mrs. W.H. Fuller of Newsoms. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 at Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins, Rev. C.P. Cleveland of the Newsoms Baptist Church officiating. Member of the deceased Bible Class were pallbearers. "Rock of Ages" and "In the Sweet Bye and Bye" were sung by the choir of Boykins Baptist Church. [Joseph B.
