KATHERINE CAMILLA THARRINGTON BRYANT 

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Katherine Tharrington Bryant, 63, was 
held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Southampton Memorial Park by the Rev. Arthur Greene. 
Wright Funeral Home was in charge.

   Mrs. Bryant died Friday in a hospital.

   A native of Macon, N.C., she was a member of Mount Horeb United Methodist 
Church.

   Survivors include a daughter, Camilla B. Phelps of Richmond; a son, Thomas 
O. Bryant of Norfolk; two sisters, Mildred T. Simonton and Annie Lee Bullard 
of Crewe, and three grandchildren.

   Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Syndrome Research Fund 
of Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
