LAWRENCE PULLEY BRANTLEY

   IVOR - A funeral service for Lawrence Pulley Brantley, 40, was held Sunday 
at 2:30 p.m. in Purviance Funeral Home Chapel, Wakefield, by the Revs. L.P. 
Bland, James M. Tongue and J.L. Buckingham.  Burial will be in Ivor Cemetery.

   Brantley died Friday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Brantley 
Sr. of Ivor and a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, and member of 
Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

   Survivors include a daughter, Miss Joleen A. Brantley in Indianapolis; two 
brothers, L.A. Brantley Jr. of Ivor and Dr. Aurelius W. Brantley of Franklin.
