All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ LYCURGUS ORMAN BRYANT Franklin, July 9 - (Special) - Lycurgus Orman Bryant, 85, well-known resident of the Newsoms community, died this morning at a local hospital after an illness of over a year. Mr. Bryant was the son of the Orman and Mary Williamson Bryant, of Southampton County and is survived by one son Frank B. Bryant, a grandson, Frank B. Bryant, Jr. both of Washington, two nephews Rosser Bryant, of Newsoms, and the Rev. Orman Bryant, of Lynchburg. Funeral services will be conducted from the Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock by the Rev. C.F. Mosely. Burial will be in Poplar Spring Cemetery.
