Robert Abbott of Newsoms Methodist Church. McDowell Funeral Home, Boykins was in charge. Pallbearers were Charlie Mack, Harvey Porter, Aubrey Story, Guy P. Rountree, Lemuel Rountree, Jack Bunn, Marvin Cook, and Fred Worrell. Miss Bryant, 46, a native of Southampton County, died Wednesday in a Williamsburg hospital. She was a daughter of Jesse J. and Mrs. Sadie Rountree Bryant. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Louise B. Porter of Newsoms and Mrs. Lorena B. Drake of Franklin.
