Bryant, 57, died at his home near Franklin Saturday after an illness of several years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Drewry Bryant; five daughters, Mrs. Willie Moody, Mrs. Luther Cogsdale and Misses Helen and Bertha Bryant of Franklin, and Mrs. John Cobb of Courtland; three sons, John, Thomas and Walter Bryant of Franklin; two brothers, Jack Bryant of Boykins and Bernard Bryant of Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth Gray of Franklin. Funeral services were conducted at Sycamore Baptist Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by the Rev. Floyd P. Davis. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
