All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/va/vafiles.htm ************************************************ MOLLIE LOUISE BRYANT Mrs. Mollie Louise Bryant, 76*, lifelong resident of the Franklin community, died Wednesday morning at her home near Franklin after an illness of 10 days. Mrs. Bryant was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J.D.* Sumner of Southampton County, and widow of John Henry Bryant, also of this county. Surviving her are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth W. Gray and a son John L. Bryant, both of Franklin; twenty-six grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock at Nottoway Chapel, conducted by the Rev. W.W. Beasley of Courtland. Burial took place in the cemetery of the church with the following pallbearers: Thomas Bryant, Walter Bryant, Robert Stephenson, Harry Lowe, Robert Gray, John Bryant, Hylton Gray and Walter Gray.
