STORY BRYANT Mrs. Rosa Bryant, 87, of Newsoms died Tuesday, December 29, after an illness of 40 years. She is survived by six children, three boys and three girls. The boys are all from Newsoms and are Charles, Julian and Floyd Bryant; the girls are Mrs. Clarence Bryant, of Rocky Mount, N.C.; Mrs. Lewis Walton of Newsoms and Mrs. L.L. Bryant of Severn, N.C.; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at the Purviance Funeral Home, in Boykins, with the Rev. N.B. Habel officiating.
