Daniel Ivey. Burial was in Beechwood Cemetery with McDowell Fuenral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Roy Lassiter, David Sykes, Ray Bunn, R.H. Tankard, Robert Hart, Lewis Knight, Herbert Tillery, Bob White and C.W. Dover. Bryant, 75, died in his home Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Nora Hart Bryant and a son of Samuel Argyle and Mrs. Fannie Hart Bryant. He was a retired conductor of Seaboard Air Line Railroad with 50 years service. He was a member of Boykins Methodist Church. Surviving are a brother, Earl W. Bryant and two sisters Miss Blanche Bryant and Mrs. Henry E. Boyd, all of Boykins.
