Dr. Robert Murry* Bryant, Jr., 49, a former resident of Franklin, died Monday, February 13, in a Radford Hospital. Dr. Bryant was the son of Mrs. Agnes B. Warriner of Lawrenceville and the late Robert M. Bryant of Franklin and Richmond. He was a graduate of Augusta Military Academy and the University of Richmond and received his medical degree from George Washington University. He is also survived by one brother, Raney Bryant of Washington, and one sister, Mrs. Paul T. Simpson of San Rafael, Calif. Graveside services were held in Poplar Spring Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock with Rev. R.H. Pulen, pastor of the Lawrenceville Methodist Church, officiating. Active pallbearers were Emmett Raney, John Raney, Hamlin Raney, G.E. Pillow, Lee Davis and E.G.
