ROBERT ALFRED BRYANT

   Norfolk - A funeral service for Robert A. Bryant, 69, was held Wednesday at 
11 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Edmund Ellis. Burial was 
in Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   He died Monday in Leigh Memorial Hospital.

   A native and former resident of Courtland, he was the husband of Mrs. Flossie 
Hunley Bryant.

   He was a retired building contractor and a member of Courtland Baptist Church.

   Other survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude B. Joyner of Franklin, 
Mrs. Zeaulene B. Thomas of Courtland, Mrs. Bess Sheldon of Dillsburg, Pa.; and a 
brother, H. Franklin Bryant of Virginia Beach.
