ROSSER BARRETT BRYANT

   Como, N.C. - A funeral service for Rosser Barrett Bryant was held Tuesday at 
11 a.m. in New Hope United Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Bunch. Burial was 
in Buckhorn Baptist Church Cemetery.

   He died Sunday in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

   A native of Southampton County, he was the husband of Mrs. Rowena Darden 
Bryant.

   He was a retired farmer and superintendent, steward and trustee of New Hope 
United Methodist Church.

   Other survivors include a son, Rosser Edward Bryant of Franklin; a brother, 
Dr. R.O. Bryant of Portsmouth; and a granddaughter, Miss Susanne Bryant of 
Franklin.

   Memorial donations may be made to New Hope United Methodist Church.
