Holland Chapel in Franklin. Burial was in Newsoms Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Woodall, Guy Pope Rountree Sr., Guy P. Rountree Jr., George Cook, William Bryant and Samuel Ferguson. A native of Southampton County, Mrs. Bryant lived in the Norfolk area for 25 years. She was member of the Newsoms Methodist Church. She was the widow of Benjamin Franklin Bryant and the daughter of James Henry and Mary Pope Worrell. Surviving are a son, Felton F. Bryant Sr. and two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Ferguson and Miss Virginia L. Worrell of Norfolk; a brother, John Q. Worrell of Newsoms; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
