Macon B. Walton. Burial was in Forest Lawn cemetery. Cox Funeral Home, Norfolk, was in charge. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested that contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Pallbearers were Evans Brasfield, John E. McDonald, Waring Smith Jr., John Willamson, Charles McCoy, Dr. J.S. Landers. Brownley - office manager of Willis Wayside Furniture Co. and a former accountant, died in a hospital Saturday at 7:05 a.m. A native of Franklin, he lived in Norfolk 48 years. He was the husband of Mrs. Marion Barclift Brownley and a son of Alexander M. and Mrs. Mary H. Brownley. He was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and a veteran of World War I. Surviving, besides his wife, is a sister, Mrs. W.W. Smith of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.
