ANN WADE COBB

   FRANKLIN - A funeral service for Mrs. Anna Wade Cobb, 76, was held 
Sunday at 1 p.m. in Wright Funeral Home by the Revs. Ira D. Hudgins 
and Allen Melton.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Courtland.

   Pallbearers were: Dick Wagenback*, Dean Wagenback*, Jim Wagenback*, 
Dick Wright, Hatcher Story, Bill Blankenship, and H.M. Turner.

   Mrs. Cobb died Friday in Norfolk General Hospital.

   A native of Southampton County, she was the widow of Linwood Cobb. 
She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church and was a retired nurse.

   Survivors include two sons, John B. Wade of Ashland and Edwin S. 
Wade of High Point, N.C.; 13 great grandchildren.
