BEAMON ANTHONY "TONY" COBB

   Beamon Anthony "Tony" Cobb, 72, of Main Street, Capron, Va., died 
Wednesday, March 26, 1986, in a Norfolk hospital.  Mr. Cobb, a native of 
Franklin, was a retired Rural Mail Carrier and worked for the Franklin Post 
Office for thirty-five years.  He was a Veteran of World War II and a member 
of the Rural Mail Carrier's Association.  He was a member of High Street 
United Methodist Church, Franklin, but regularly attended Capron United 
Methodist Church.  Mr. Cobb is survived by one sister, Mrs. Marion C. Bell, 
Capron; and several cousins.  A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. 
Friday, March 28, in Poplar Spring Cemetery, Franklin by the Rev. D. Glen 
Langston.  The family has requested that any donation be made to the Capron 
Rescue Squad or the charity of your choice.  Wright Funeral Home, Franklin is 
handling arrangements.
